Anime is a sheet of ice
You stare at it in awe…
Then you slip on it,
Unable to escape once you are down
Even when it hurts to fall
Into its trap
You cannot help but to stare
At its sparkling beauty.
It is cold in the fact
That it closes out life
Making it so your eyes
Can only see its glittering appeal
It holds tranquil elegance as you stare
Holding you in mystifying silence
Until you begin to enter further
And it cracks beneath your feet
Jagged edges penetrate into your soul
Clenching you until you cannot breathe
Yes – this is the feeling of a fangirl moment approaching
It grasps you in an icy haze as you remain unmoved.
No matter how much you slip
On the icy floor it creates
You admire it
In all its mystical magnificence.

So true xD I got totally sucked into InuYasha, for example. After mentioning it to a friend of mine, she went home and watched up to season 5 in a week. She then told her brother, who slurped down 2 seasons in one night.
Then I moved onto Bleach and that's been my obsession for probably three years xD
